It's been 1 month and a day since I've stepped foot on Aussieland. It's time for me to get into momentum and start on my work soon before it starts piling. On a side note, can't wait for the Mackay trip to come!! Easter's in another 2 weeks and the celebration for this festival here's like almost as major as Chinese New Year at home. Advertisements for chocolates, bunnies, marshmellows has been up since weeks ago! Still in the midst of persuading the housemates here to organize a picnic during Easter. How can one ever say NO to a picnic??
Life's been the same as usual in the past month. Grocery shopping, long dinner conversations (which can last as long as 6 hours - from facebooking to speedating), occasional korean food and MORE cooking! This is also the reason for the lack of updates of my blog. OHH!! At least I'm trying to attend the weekly netball sessions now to add some entertainment into my mundane life!
Some pictures of my 'new' room since the flood below. It also explains the sweeping of my room floor once every 2 days since it's tiled now. The housemate was so amazed by me a few days back when i decided to kick/sweep my strands of hair into a pile right smack in the middle of my room. She couldn't stand it and helped kick/sweep it to the corner of the room. HAHA!!
YES!! Your eyes aren't playing a trick on you, my full length mirror is FINALLY up!! And I no longer need to squat/kneel to take pictures of myself!

It may look small from the outside but looks can be DECEIVING! Totally in love with my HUMONGOUS wardrobe!!
Did anyone notice the amount of storage space I've got this time round as compared to my previous furniture? Note the pigeon holes in the picture above as well as the shelfs above my bed.
My pretty Bangkok lights! Yes I'm still suffering from post BKK syndromes and I'm definite that it's NEVER going away!! Boohoo!! BKK's bad for health!
And if we're in the mood on Sunday mornings, we'll head down to the Ipswich Sunday Markets to shop for cheap vegetables/fruits. The life I'm leading now is definitely contrasting from the one back at home. Having to think of what to cook for the next day the night before, grocery shopping almost every other day. And now we're trying to purchase a week's worth of grocery at a time to save chi-ching! Also, I'm still fascinated by how we can sit around the dinner table and just chat for hours on random and brainless topics.

Random thoughts:
- I shed hair at a rate so fast that the TILED floor(used to be carpeted so it didnt really matter even if I only swept it once every 2 weeks) has to be swept once every 2 days.
- I've way overspent this month and it's only been 2 weeks.
- I'm missing BKK already! suffering from post-BKK syndromes.
- I'm sub-consiously glad to have Singaporeans around on foreign ground even though consciouly I want to make Australian friends.
- I'll be done with my degree in TEN months.
- I'm still day-dreaming about travelling and seeing the world.
- I miss the frequent runs along East Coast Park.
- I miss the BIG SCREEN TV at home. And yes fatty, the TV here's indeed a sixth of the one at home.
- I wanna watch 星光大道 season 2 & 3.
- I need speakers because the speakers of my ancient notebook might die on me anytime. Please let it last for another 10months and Mr Fan please stop throwing tantrums at me.
- I should be starting on my assignments soon but the brain's thinking about where the next vacation going to be.
- I'm thinking about when I should attend surfing lessons.
- I'm contemplating on whether to learn a third language. Italian sounds beautifully nice after reading ' Eat, Pray, Love'.
- I know blogging should be a routine for me now since there isn't much to do at small town - Ipswich (refuse to call it a dead town because it is INDEED self-contained).
- I'm hoping that Ms Chew is coping well!
- I'm astonished by how time flies when one's slacking her day away at home.
- I'm off to more SLACKING!
