i've got a love/hate relationship with Augusta-Margaret River now. http://www.margaretriver.com/
the infinite amount of time spent pouring through notes, research and books, the constant thoughts of TDM TDM n MORE TDM, the 1000+3000+5000 words report, has FINALLY come to an end. with a WHOOPING total of 86 pages - almost equivalent to our FM project back at TP. but that was a group project! unlike TP, there isnt printing and binding services available at every school here. the only and only binding service provided at UQ Union was not even open for the day and the bookshop had to close early! ended up STAPLING my thick stack of project.how unprofessional!!

Figure 1the brain has yet to adjust and TDM/AMR is still on the back of my mind. and the best way to pamper our worn out body - korean food and a treat to the movies (How to lose friends & alienate people)
alright!shall go indulge in some PROPER sleep before the mugging of exams begin!!

Yesterday, I experienced my first 'hail' here. Yes. Ice fell from the sky. Definitely not something that we'll get at home. It got me hyped up and excited. The sound of it dropping on the rooftop wasn't very pleasing though. Alright. Off to sch! 2 more days of 'constantly-thinking-of-TDM' and i'll be DONE!

Tommorow marks the start of our last week of school. It would be an understatement to say the semester has past in the blink of an eye. With 2 assignments and 3 exams to go, i'll be done with my first semester in UQ.
-into my 28th page of the report and i'm not intending to use the word count tool on Word cuz the cap of 5,000 words is definitely unachievable. Having to include a market analysis, situation analysis, SWOT, summary of information from the first two assignments, resource inventory analysis and recommendations for my marketing plan. Can someone tell me how am I even supposed to keep within the limit? Joycexu read somewhere that in the industry, consultants are paid $5,000 for what we're doing. Isn't it ironic that I'm the one forking out money(read:school fees) now? the absurdity of life!

An hour ago, I was feeling totally devastated upon realization of the lost of 2 most important documents essential to my 50%submission next Friday. File was corrupted and the pages of research done turned out to be B.L.A.N.K! Managed to RE-TYPE what I've lost, have yet to RE-DO the research though. Looking on the positive side, at least I didn't lose the documents when I was half-way through or near completion. Think I'll just suffocate and die if that happens. I WILL MAKE TRIPLE COPIES OF MY IMPT DOCS FROM NOW ON!!
Back to work!
Can't wait for Syd/GC trip!!!

Mini-celebration
What better way is there to celebrate the end of 2 presentations and welcome the 2 essays which add up to a total of 6,500 words?? A visit to Coles to stock up, stopover at Big Dad's for a chicken & vegetable pie and a chick flick - Wild Child to end off the day =)) Artificial happiness really does wonders. Am now FULLY GEARED for the next few weeks.
My amiable/wonderful/affable/good-natured friends from Cumquat decided to show some care and concern for their dear friend here and with a swop of their fingers pocketed my house keys which costs frigging 100bucks!! Panicked in that split second before reality struck me!! What amazing friends I've got here!! Nonetheless, i still 'LOVE' them =))

HOME SWEET HOME Ipswich!
Maybe i'm more of a countryside person? I've always experienced this comforting feel whenever I get back 'home'(Ipswich) from Brisbane and this time round, Melbourne. I love how Ipswich is self-contained and it isn't very often that we would see hoards of people walking along the streets. Most of the time, we Asians are the only ones as most of them own cars. And how the bus drivers would offer to send us directly to our door step seeing that we've got loads of grocery bags.
yes i'm home!! back to the piling assignments and exams. 4 more weeks till freedom!! Sydney & GC next!!
I think I'm consumed by insatiable wanderlust. Always having the urge to just pack my stuff up and start backpacking. The desire to learn about different cultures and experience life-changing events through these trips.
Time to get back to work!
